美国航空(AA)公布了其2024年夏季航班时刻表，其中包括50多个新目的地。从2024年3月开始，美航将开通从纽约和迈阿密等地飞往哥本哈根、那不勒斯和尼斯的直飞航班。此外美航还将扩大其在美国大陆的国内网络，在两个新的机场增加航班服务：华盛顿州的帕斯科机场(Pasco)和马萨诸塞州的海恩尼斯机场(Hyannis)。
美国航空最近对其机队进行了重大调整，将从巴航工业接收4架E-175飞机，这些飞机预计在2024年最后一个季度交付。此外，美航还同意直接从合作伙伴阿拉斯加航空购买10架空客A321neo飞机。
