民航资源网2023年11月10日消息：据Aviation International News报道，大型宽体客机交付延误阻碍中东地区航空公司的机队更新计划，目前中东地区多家航司目前运营有795架空客飞机和727架波音飞机。在疫情期间，中东地区航司机队规模几乎保持不变，随着航空旅行需求逐渐增加，中东地区航司有望在2023年底实现机队规模增长。

截至今年10月中旬，阿联酋航空运营有超260架飞机，其中包括119架空客A380和144架波音777。但早在2019年9月，阿联酋航空就已运营有268架飞机，同时还有231架待交付。卡塔尔航空目前拥有大约255架空客和波音飞机，并有195架待交付。阿提哈德航空目前运营有90架飞机，还有105架飞机待交付。

Cirium全球咨询主管Rob Morris表示，波音777X项目的推迟，是中东地区主要航司机队更新计划受影响的关键。阿联酋航空、阿提哈德航空、卡塔尔航空的机队扩充计划与波音777X和空客A350积压订单有密切联系。
IBA咨询主管Dan Taylor表示，尽管全球航空业正面临一些不利因素，但中东航空客运市场已大致恢复到疫前水平。
